Mara was born and trained in Brazil and had fourteen years of experience in the physio field before moving to Canada in 2018.

Past work experience incorporates a wide range of clients in different environments, including the Brazilian Air Force and private facilities. She is passionate about orthopedics and sports injuries and has active rehab knowledge in eight different sports.

Her educational background includes two post-graduate certificates in exercise science focused on orthopedics, sports, and special population. David J. Magee, Ph.D. was one of her teachers back in 2009. Exercise Science for Health and Performance is the most recent post-graduation and it was taken in Canada in 2018-2019.

In addition, she is Mckenzie MDT, Mulligan, Pilates, Global Posture Reeducation (Reeducation Posturale Globale), Dry Needling, Kinesio Taping and Auriculotherapy trained.

Deanna holds a Bachelor of Science degree in honours kinesiology from the University of Waterloo and a physiotherapy degree from McMaster University.

She is registered with the college of physiotherapists of Ontario and is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.

Deanna has taken numerous post-graduate courses including acupuncture and manual and manipulative therapy.

She has been assessing and treating patients for 20 years and is able to focus in on the root of the problem and develop a client-focused treatment plan.

Deanna uses a combination of manual therapy, acupuncture or other modalities, and specific exercises to improve flexibility, strength, stability and restore normal movement patterns and function.

She enjoys treating a variety of conditions for people of all ages.

Outside of work, Deanna enjoys spending time with her family, practicing yoga and skiing.

Born and raised in Burlington, Dr. McIntyre graduated from Assumption high school and continued his education at McMaster University where he played four years of varsity soccer. After earning his Bachelor of Kinesiology degree he continued his studies at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, completing the four year program to become a Doctor of Chiropractic. Kevin is a certified provider of Active Release Technique (ART) a certified provider of Graston Technique and has been published in a peer reviewed chiropractic journal. He has experience treating people of all athletic abilities, including members of the Canadian and US Olympic bobsled teams, Canadian National and Olympic freestyle ski teams, Olympic speed skaters, professional football players, professional snowboarders, professional race-car drivers, professional motocross racers and numerous marathoners and Ironman Triathletes to name a few. While at the U of L she enjoyed five years of playing varsity soccer. She then completed the four year diploma program at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College to become a Doctor of Chiropractic. Leslie is a certified provider of Active Release Technique (ART) and a certified provider of the Graston Technique. Previously, Dr. McDowall was the clinic director for Meditech International’s Bioflex laser clinics. Samantha graduated from Queen’s University with a Masters degree in Physical Therapy in 2015, and prior to this she completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at McMaster University. Throughout her journey as a physiotherapist, she has worked with a variety of populations from varsity athletes, to children, to individuals post surgery and everyone in between.

Samantha enjoys living an active lifestyle and encourages her patients to do the same. Her treatments involve a combination of manual therapy, acupuncture, exercise and education to improve function and get her clients back to doing the things they love. Samantha has completed advanced training in concussion management and vestibular rehabilitation, acupuncture and manual therapy. She is also certified in taping and soft tissue release.

When Samantha is not working she can be found playing with her dog or spending time with friends and family. She also enjoys playing volleyball, soccer and snowboarding.

Beth graduated from McMaster University receiving an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology degree. She continued her studies at McMaster University and received a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy.

Beth is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, and is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. She also belongs to the Canadian Physiotherapy Association’s Orthopaedic and Animal Rehabilitation Divisions. Beth has continued her post graduate education in various areas including acupuncture through the McMaster Medical Acupuncture Program, k-taping, and many manual therapy courses including focus on the TMJ and the Mulligan Concept. She has also had experience working within a hospital in varied clinical settings, including inpatient rehabilitation.

Outside of the clinic, Beth is very active in competitive horseback riding, specifically in the sport of Eventing and dressage.

Beth is motivated to assist her clients to achieve their goals through an active rehabilitation program.
